Bob Radziewicz

Bob Radziewicz, who has edited some of The Miami Herald's top writers and was part of four Pulitzer Prize-winning teams over the last 30 years, joined the faculty of the Journalism program in the fall of 2007 as Director of On-line and Print News Operations. Radziewicz provides executive management and mentorship for the print and online journalism media including the University's newspaper, The Miami Hurricane, as well as teach. He also serves as faculty co-adviser to the Society of Professional Journalists chapter at the School of Communication.
Radziewicz joined the Herald in 1977 and worked for several years as an editor on the state desk. He was the city desk editor for nearly 25 years, supervising a variety of news beats including education, environment and immigration. Since 1989, he has directed the Herald's coverage of hurricanes both in Florida and around the region. Radziewicz holds the Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri and the bachelor of arts degree in politics and international relations from the University of Notre Dame.
