DSC Peer Mentor Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in Orientation
- Participate in special events
- Mentor freshmen and transfer students regarding their course selection, academic progress, career advancement and introduction to the School of Communication
- Give at least two campus tours to prospective students per semester

DSC Peer Mentors Are:
- Outgoing, resourceful, enthusiastic, approachable

- Diverse, energetic, respectful, friendly
Membership Requirements:
- 3.0 or higher GPA (within UM and SoC)
- Rising sophomore, junior or senior SoC student
- Good standing
